TODAY: Dayton area’s first Jason’s Deli opens new Beavercreek restaurant next to Giordano’s Pizza

The first Dayton-area Jason's Deli opened at 10 a.m. today, Thursday April 4.

The new restaurant is located at 2819 Centre Drive near I-675 and North Fairfield Road across from the Mall at Fairfield Commons in Beavercreek.

The hours for the new Jason’s Deli will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.

The first Dayton-area Jason's Deli is now hiring and gearing up for an April opening.

The restaurant chain, which operates a restaurant in Cincinnati and three in Columbus, is putting the finishing touches on its newest restaurant at 2819 Centre Drive near I-675 and North Fairfield Road and across from the Mall at Fairfield Commons  Beavercreek.

The Texas-based sandwich chain will be Giordano's Pizza’s neighbor at the site of a former Logan’s Roadhouse restaurant. Giordano’s opened last month, on Feb. 19.

Jason’s Deli also has submitted plans to open a second Dayton-area restaurant on Ohio 741 near the Dayton Mall.

Jay Tortorice, spokesman for the Jason's Deli franchise group that will operate the Beavercreek location, told this news outlet that the best way for potential applicants to apply is to come by the store, take a tour and meet the management team. Tortorice told this news outlet late last year that the Beavercreek restaurant’s location across from Wright State University and the Mall at Fairfield Commons was appealing.

“We think its a great combination of daytime employment, retail draw and surrounding residential,” he said.

Jason’s Deli operates 260 restaurants in 29 states.

The new Dayton-area restaurant will occupy 4,800 square feet, seat 140 and will employ about 50.

Jason’s Deli’s officials say their menu offers “healthy to indulgent meal choices for all tastes and appetites,” including specialty sandwiches, salads, wraps, paninis, muffalettas, pasta and potato dishes and 12 original-recipe soups. A vegetarian menu and a gluten-sensitive menu also are offered.

The chain’s restaurants also offer online ordering, catering and delivery.
