Walt’s Barbeque, 746 NW Washington Blvd., owned by the Riley family — Ken and Gloria along with their son James — is closing its doors permanently.
“There wasn’t enough staffing and there wasn’t enough business out there to keep it going unfortunately so the owners decided to shut it down,” said Ceejay Hendricks, who is a manager at the Walt’s Barbeque location in Colerain. “The Hamilton location has had a good run and it is sad to see it go.”
The Rileys also own J. Austin’s Riverbank Café, 102 Main St. in Hamilton, and that will continue operating according to Hendricks.
The Walt’s Barbeque in Colerain will remain open as will their catering operation.
