Beavercreek bakery to start selling acclaimed local doughnuts this Friday

The RachelBakes & Co. bakery at 2231 N. Fairfield Road in Beavercreek has posted on its Facebook page that it will offer doughnuts and coffee on Friday and Saturday mornings starting this Friday, March 15.

The most recent post does not name the source of the eight varieties of doughnuts that will be offered, but said they will be coming from "the same place as previously advertised but they would prefer to stay out of the media and we respect that!" In a previous Facebook post, since taken down, RachelBakes said it would be selling doughnuts from Bill's Donut Shop. and called Bill's "a local legend."

In April 2015, Bill’s Donut Shop was named one of the “33 Best Donut Shops in America” by the web site Thrillist.com. It was the only doughnut shop in Ohio to be included in the “best-in-the-U.S.” list. The web site said Bill’s “captures the essence of the original, especially when you bite into their incredible apple spice, sour cream, white-iced jelly, and famous pretzel donuts.”
