New ‘Double Deuce’ tavern & pizzeria now open in Huber Heights

HUBER HEIGHTS -- The Double Deuce Tavern & Family Pizzeria officially opened its doors on Monday Feb. 12.

The business relocated from north Dayton to Huber Heights, where it renovated the former site of C’s Pizza at 5186 Brandt Pike (State Route 201).

Double Deuce co-owner James Williams has said the new Double Deuce would seat as many as 100 and employ 15 to 20. It offers 10 beers on tap, including eight devoted to craft brews.

Williams and co-owner Ralph Mueller first opened Double Deuce in 2009 at 17 Brandt St. in Dayton. In 2017, Williams noticed the then-vacant former C’s Pizza spot, which had also been the Myung Sung Asian restaurant prior to that.

“I remembered the place from when I was younger and going there with my kids,” Williams told this news outlet last year.
