Tank’s Bar & Grill has revised its reopening plans.
Debra Tankersly, owner of the popular Dayton pub at 2033 Wayne Ave., said in an email today that her original plan to open for curbside service in early July has changed because of some electrical work that needs to be done to the restaurant prior to reopening.
“We will be opening July 22 at 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday for curbside pickup, online ordering and Uber eats delivery,” Tankersly told this news outlet. Orders also will be taken by phone at 937-252-2249.
Those hours will extend through Aug. 5, when Tank’s plans to open for dine-in service and resume serving breakfast. Hours starting Aug. 5 will be 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“Our menu has been adjusted, but we have done our best to keep favorites,” Tankersly said. “We will still have breakfast. We have a few new surprises up our sleeve!”
Tank’s has been a favorite of voters in the Dayton.com Best of Dayton contest, in which Tank’s won first place for “Best Breakfast” destination again this year.
