New regulations will be in effect when the park reopens.
Among them is a limit of 50 riders each day and no rentals — riders will have to bring their own equipment including bikes, scooters, skateboards and helmets and wearing masks will be encouraged.
Mike Bisig, the owner, said limiting the number of riders in the park will hamper his business, which draws riders locally and from out of state, but it was the best way to ensure safety and social distancing.
“We are all about safety and these new regulations are for keeping people safe.” Bisig said. “We always want to err on the side of being a whole bunch of fun for families but a safe fun environment at the same time.”
During the two-month closure, Bisig was busy making improvements to the business.
Riders will find a new bike wash station as well as hips and boxes, biking features in the park. The storage capacity for bike repairs and service has doubled and new display cases and lighting have been added in the showroom.
Bisig said fun and exercise can be a healthy release during stressful times.
“The bike park is great because it really doesn’t matter how good you are at all. Your skill level on a bicycle doesn’t have anything to do with your fun level.”

Admission: A day of riding costs $20 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, $15 Monday through Thursday and $10 for children under 12 (must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old).
Hours: Monday through Thursday noon to 9 p.m.; Friday noon to 10 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
