After final inspections, expected before the end of the week, El Toro will close down the existing restaurant at 2335 Miamisburg-Centerville Road (Ohio 725) and open the next day at the former TGI Fridays restaurant at 2022 Miamisburg-Centerville Road in the South Towne Center.

The current restaurant in the Shoppes at 725 across from the Dayton Mall shares a parking lot with several other retail businesses. The new location’s dedicated parking, and the restaurant’s larger size of 8,300 square feet, were factors in the decision to relocate, Alvarez has said. The TGI Fridays shut its doors for good on Sept. 6 in the South Towne Center.

In recent months, it has confirmed plans to build out a restaurant in the former Abuelo’s restaurant on North Fairfield Road in Beavercreek, opened a new restaurant in south Centerville, and announced plans to relocate one of its Springfield restaurants.
