“The only thing that’s better than a summer afternoon out on our patio is a fall evening,” said Tanya Brock, General Manager at Fifth Street Brewpub. “When Darren [Link, Brewer at Fifth Street Brewpub] started discussing his ideas for our fall beers, we knew that one more outside event was called for this year.”

Darren Link, Brewmaster at Fifth Street Brewpub Co-op "A beer that everyone should try is Herbivore No.1. It was a favorite homebrew recipe of mine and it's an unusual approach to a pale ale. The whole Herbivore series uses different combinations of herbs and spices as a sort of sensory test. Not necessarily divulging what is in the beers right away. I will say Herbivore No.1 uses 25 Lbs. of local wildflower honey in addition to the herb. Nice easy drinking beer garden beer".

“Fall is full of such amazing flavors,” Link said. “I’d been working with a few ideas and am really excited to share these beers with all of our great neighbors, guests and co-op members.”

Free live music for the Camp Out will be provided by husband/wife folk duo A Sweet Sound performing from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Complimentary table-side s’mores will be provided on the patio while supplies last.

Fifth Street Brewpub Co-op has released Jo Jo's Midnight Stout as a seasonal offering. "We have a favorite of mine that will be returning soon: JoJo's Midnight Stout," said Darren Link, Brewmaster of Fifth Street Brewpub. "Thick as motor oil with Flaked oats, flaked barley, & lactose. Plenty of roasted malts give the beer lots of chocolate and coffee notes." JIM WITMER/STAFF
