Owner MJ  Redha said the location will be open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday;  11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays and 11 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

He said an employee provided incorrect hours in earlier published reports

It is the second location for Gyro Palace, which has long had a restaurant at 57 S. Springboro Pike in Miamisburg at the corner of Ohio 725 and Ohio 741.

The new location opened Friday, Sept. 21.

Gyro Palace captured third place in the Dayton.com Best of 2017 contest in the category of “Best Mediterranean/Greek Dining.” Its food truck serves gyros and other Greek specialties.

Food and dining reporter Mark Fisher reported in January that the owner of The Gyro Room sold the business to the Gyro Palace.

At the time,  Redha  had planned to open the new Gyro Palace location in March.

The Gyro Room opened at the Brown Street location in April 2017.
