"Music Bingo," hosted by Liftoff Entertainment DJ & Photo Booth Services, is a new option in town to enjoy a Thursday night out.
It's just what it sounds like. Clips of music will be played, and if you are lucky enough to have that song on your bingo card, you get to cover it up and pursue your run of five to make B-I-N-G-O.
Three rounds of Musical Bingo will be played each night and there will be prizes for the winners on Thursdays at South Park Tavern.
The series launched Nov. 1. Musical bingo will be played each Thursday starting at 7 p.m., so mark your calendars for Nov. 29 and Dec. 6, 13, 20 and 27.
South Park Tavern is a great place in town for craft beer and their pizzas, including our favorites the Tasty Taco, Cheeseburger Deluxe and the vegetarian Backpacker. Adding the games plus music to the Thursday mix makes this one of our new favorites.
On Wednesdays, South Park Tavern is host to an open mic night if you are crafting tunes that someday will be good enough to be featured at a musical bingo.
Pro tip: When you are looking for something to do with or without family and friends over the holidays, keep this one in mind. You can thank us later.
