The third Raising Cane’s location in the Miami Valley is set to open its doors to customers for the first time today, July 13. The new Raising Cane’s restaurant is located in Huber Heights, in a former PNC Bank branch on Old Troy Pike.

Beginning at 10 a.m., the brand new Raising Cane’s will open with drive-thru service only. There will be no inside dining. The first 100 cars through the drive-thru will receive a free Raising Cane’s shirt. A virtual ribbon cutting ceremony will be posted to Raising Cane’s social media platforms.

“Raising Cane’s couldn’t be more excited to join the Huber Heights family,” said Michael Williams, the Regional Marketing Advisor for Raising Cane’s. “This will be our third restaurant in the greater Dayton area, and we are thrilled to bring over 100 new jobs to the community with this opening.”

In honor of opening this new location in Huber Heights, Raising Cane’s, known for its fundraising efforts to support numerous communities throughout the country, will be giving back to the city of Huber Heights.

“In continuing with our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve, we have kick-started that promise with a $1,000 donation to the Huber Heights Athletic Foundation to put toward their annual scholarship fund,” said Williams.

This new location will be Raising Cane’s 37th location in Ohio and its 523rd in the country. The first Dayton-area location was opened in Washington Twp. in 2017, while the second area location was opened just a year later in a location across from the Greene in Beavercreek. Though plans were in the works to open a Kettering location on Far Hills Avenue, they were eventually dismissed after opposition from its neighbors.

The chain offers a minimalist menu that revolves around chicken fingers that are “fresh, never frozen” and marinated for 24 hours, then battered and cooked to order. Visitors can also look forward to other menu staples, like crinkle-cut fries, cole slaw, Texas Toast and sauces that are made in-house every day.

The location will be open from from Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight.

“Raising Cane’s couldn’t be more excited to join the Huber Heights Family. This will be our 3rd restaurant in the greater Dayton area, and we are thrilled to bring over 100 new jobs to the community with this opening. In continuing with our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve, we have kick-started that promise with a $1,000 donation to the Huber Heights Athletic Foundation to put toward their annual scholarship fund. We look forward to serving Hot, Fresh Chicken Finger Meals, 7 days a week. We can’t wait to see everyone when we open up the drive thru on Monday, July 13th”
