“I just wanted to bring more entertainment to the community I love,” said Daniel Huiet, who owns the entertainment center with his business partner, Emanuel Gana. “I wanted to build something that people are proud to have in their community and (a place) they can have an absolute blast at.”
Huiet is also the co-owner of Wild Axe Throwing and Great Escape Game in Beavercreek. He runs those two businesses with his other partner, Michael Keggan.
“Our mission statement at Great Escape and Wild Axe is helping people escape reality through fun and that’s going to be the same mission statement at On Par,” Huiet previously said.
On Par Entertainment features five lanes of metal tip automatic scoring darts, 12 lanes of duckpin bowling and three, nine-hole mini golf courses. Those three activities are first come, first served. The venue also has five private karaoke rooms available for bookings and a public karaoke stage. Other activities include 16 person foosball, shuffle board, ring toss and pool tables.
The 33,000 square-foot space has 102 self-pour taps featuring wine, cocktails, domestic and craft beer, ciders and seltzers and a kitchen featuring elevated bar food like burgers, flatbread pizza and wings. They also offer bottle service and VIP sections.
Huiet said he hopes to raise peoples’ expectations of what a bar should be. After traveling to 82 countries and seeing a lot of unique businesses, he has combined many of the elements to create a one-of-a-kind entertainment center.
