The ‘porn star’ who played one of the most popular nerds of the 1980s and early 1990s is coming to town.

Dustin Diamond, who rocketed to fame as Samuel "Screech" Power on NBC's "Saved by the Bell," is set to perform at the Funny Bone Comedy Club, 88 Plum St. at The Greene in Beavercreek on April 18.

Admission to the 7:30 p.m. show is $17, or $47 for a dinner and the show.

Diamond created an uproar when he directed and released the sex tape "Screeched: Saved by the Smell" in 2006.

He said he regretted the sex tape during a 2013 episode of Oprah Winfrey's "Oprah: Where Are They Now?"

On the episode, the comedian claimed he didn’t actually appear naked in the film and instead used a stunt double.

The now 40-year-old has had several acting roles since his “Saved by the Bell” days, including roles in “Big Fat Liar,” “Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star,” “American Pie Presents: The Book of Love” and “Porndogs: The Adventures of Sadie.”

He was housemate on “Celebrity Big Brother” and “Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.”

Diamond has had a handful of very public run-ins with the law.
