New food truck event series to begin this weekend in downtown Xenia

Second Saturdays in Xenia are about to get more delicious.

Food truck rallies are coming to East Main starting July 13 and running every second Saturday through October.

“With the neighboring Xenia Bike Hub and the great new businesses, downtown Xenia has become more and more of a place to be,” Brian Johnson, organizer of Downtown Xenia Food Truck Rallies, said in a news release. “Lots of folks have been coming downtown, but there’s still limited dining options, so we were excited at the opportunity to partner with the community and host these monthly events.”

The event will feature six to 10 food trucks set up along East Main Street between North Detroit and South Whiteman, just blocks from the Bike Hub and Devil Wind Brewery.
