This weekend’s Knockout Dayton summer event brings boxing to the streets 

The pressure is on to see who will throw the knockout blow to an opponent during the Original Summer Knockout 2018 this Saturday.

Hosted by Drake’s Gym, the event will take place at the corner of Fifth and Patterson streets (under the parking garage) for an outdoor series of bouts, which will be held from 6-11 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25.

Proceeds from the summer event will benefit United Rehabilitation Services (URS) of Dayton. URS is a local charity that offers a wide-array of programs with a variety of goal-centered activities, focused on enhancing the physical, social and emotional needs of children, adults and seniors with developmental or acquired disabilities from throughout the Greater Dayton Region.

Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 at the door and can be purchased online
