Bill's Donut Shop named best in the state

Bill's Donut Shop has long been the reigning champion of donuts in the Montgomery County, but now, an article by Thrillist deems them the best in the state.

If you're a true Daytonian, you know that Bill's is just the place to get your donuts. You've probably even made the drive out to Centerville just to satiate a craving at least once (or a baker's dozen of times) in your lifetime.

While Thrillist recommends the hand-twisted pretzel donuts, we know from experience that the devil's foodcake donut is where it's at.

Bill's Donuts has been a Dayton institution since 1960, and this isn't the first time they've received national recognition. They were recognized as one of the top 50 donut shops nationwide by Saveur Magazine and, in 2013, their glazed donut was named one of the top 10 in the country by USA Today.

Really, they’re just uncovering what we Daytonians have known for years. Bill’s Donuts is simply the best. Way to go Bill’s!
