Dayton's beloved Rob Lowe is about to make all of our dreams come true.

Lowe will voice the character of Simba in an upcoming television movie called The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar  according to an article by Entertainment Weekly .

If you weren’t excited enough to hear that The Lion King story will continue, you’ve got to admit, it’s pretty cool that a Dayton native will be the voice of everyone’s favorite underdog (or underlion in this case).

Relationship goals: Lowe will be joined by Gabrielle Union, who will voice Nala, to make the most epic power-couple in Pride Rock’s history.

The TV movie will premiere on the Disney Channel in November. The story is set to follow Kion, Simba and Nala's second born son, and the rest of the Lion's Guard, as they protect the Pride Land's.

Another Dayton native, Max Charles, will voice Kion in this upcoming Lion King TV movie. We've all become pretty familiar with our Dayton favorite, Rob Lowe, but it looks like Dayton has another star in Hollywood to root for.

Charles has already accrued an impressive filmography, acting in The Amazing Spiderman and it's sequel, as well as American Sniper, just to name a few.

Other notable actors voicing this movie include Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland, Atticus Shaffer and returning from the original movies will be James Earl Jones (who voiced Mufasa) and Ernie Sabella (who voiced Pumbaa).
