K99.1 FM presenting free concert this weekend honoring veterans

This Saturday, June 16, K99.1 FM will help honor local veterans with a special concert.

The Ford Oval of Honor Veteran's Hero Concert at Buckeye Harley Davidson in Dayton will feature Hasting & Co. and Mitchell Tenpenny in back-to-back country music shows after an honorary color guard performance.

This all-ages concert is free, and no ticket is required for entry. Food trucks and sponsor Budweiser will be on site selling food and beverages.

The doors open at 4 p.m., and the concert kicks off at 6 p.m. Please note, coolers and umbrellas are prohibited.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Fisher House Foundation, which provides housing to military families during medical care. According to their website, Fisher Houses have provided more than 8 million nights of lodging since 1990.
