Vegan food and drink festival will have more than a dozen vendors and entertainment for all ages

More than a dozen vendors will spotlight plant-based and vegan food during a new downtown Dayton festival.

The new Dayton Vegan Food and Drink Festival will be held Sunday, Sept. 29 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Courthouse Square in Dayton.

The event’s Facebook page lists 18 vendors will be on hand with a wide variety of food and drink. A sampling includes Like Mom’s Only Vegan, Sprouting Dreams, Village Taco, Leerah’s Vegan Treats, Billie Gold Bubble Tea and Purely Sweet Bakery.

Throughout the day a variety of entertainment including music, spoken word and yoga will be held on the main stage.

A scavenger hunt and craft creation will be held for children and author Katie Clark will read from her book, I’m a Supervegan.

The festival will be held rain or shine.
