Unless you were born in a brewery, you might not know what a Das Boot even is.
Das Boot is a traditional drinking game involving, you guessed it, drinking from a boot. There are some variations to the game, but essentially it is a timed competition to see who can drink the monster glass of beer the fastest.
Barrel House is once again testing their own patrons this St. Patrick’s Day. Competitions will be held all day long and the fastest time of the day will be rewarded, said Gus Stathes, co-owner at the Barrel House.
Pro tip: Experts have suggested going against your intuition and instead point the toe of the boot downward to get a more even flow of beer while drinking.
