Where’s the best patio to visit with your dog? The best place to take a date? And which barista makes coffee just right?

These are the winners of the Dayton.com Best of 2018 in the people and places categories.

Ghostlight Coffee will celebrate its Lumberjack Fest 2017 on Saturday, Oct. 7. Fans will be able to preview Ghostlight’s new food truck, grab lumberjack flapjacks for breakfast, show off their flannel or buy some from Black Lake Vintage, learn out Peace on Fifth fair trade chocolates and Gem City Market;  support Gem City Tees; pick up  Rye Whiskey Barrel Aged Maple Syrup; stock up on Tina's Sweet Treats
