A Whopper of a new restaurant is scheduled to open its doors Monday, March 19 in Washington Twp. south of Centerville.
TOMS King (Ohio) LLC, the franchise owner of several Miami Valley Burger King locations, announced today, March 15, that its 14th Dayton-area restaurant at 9189 Dayton-Lebanon Pike is poised to open.
The new Burger King will have plenty of company along that stretch of Dayton-Lebanon Pike. The location near the Skeeter Lane intersection is virtually surrounded by other fast-food chain restaurants. Arby’s, McDonald’s and Taco Bell are the three consecutive businesses to its south, and Subway, Pizza Hut and Dairy Queen are with a block or two to the north. Starbucks and Skyline Chili are across the street.
“TOMS King is one of the top-performing Burger King franchisees in North America, and we’re excited to add this newly built restaurant to our family,” Matt Carpenter, CEO of TOMS King, said in a release.
The building will be dedicated at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 22, in a ceremony attended by representatives of the South Metro Chamber of Commerce and the city of Centerville will have a ribbon cutting following the dedication.
TOMS King operates more than 130 restaurants in Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Virginia.
