Here’s where to find deals on margaritas for Cinco De Mayo in Dayton

Cinco de Mayo, the fifth of May, marks an 1862 victory by Mexican troops over the French forces of Napoleon III at the Battle of Puebla.

The annual celebration in Mexico sees military parades, folk dancing, street parties and spreads of traditional food. In the United States, it's pretty much food and drinks with some fun parties sprinkled in.

Below are some deals and freebies from restaurants around the country that are celebrating Cinco de Mayo.

Applebee's: Applebee's $1 Neighborhood Drink of the Month is the Dollarita. It's available on Cinco de Mayo.

Bar Louie: Through Sunday during Cabo de Mayo celebrations, Bar Louie is offering two specialty tacos for $5 and $5 drink specials on two of their special cocktails. The specials are available during participating Bar Louie Cabo de Mayo celebrations.

Chili's: You can get three beverages – the Tequila Trifecta, the Presidente Margarita and draft beer – for $5 each on Sunday.

Chipotle: Order $10 or more and get free DoorDash delivery on Sunday. Place your order through the DoorDash website or app, the Chipotle app or Chipotle.com. The maximum order size for free delivery is $200, excluding tax. You do not need a promo code

Chuy's: Chuy's is offering three days of Cinco de Mayo celebrations. On Fiesta Friday, get $1 floaters; on Sippin' Saturday get $1 floaters and $1 off Perfect Margaritas. On Sunday, you can get the Saturday deals plus $5 regular House Ritas, $8 Grande House Ritas and $5 queso or guacamole.

Uno Pizzeria & Grill: Through Sunday, you can get a Sauza Margarita for $2.
